To those
who know me, it is no longer a secret that I love deserts. Really love! All
sorts of them. I know this is not a very nice habit to have, and it is not
healthy at all. At least if not done properly.
But when
I decide to have a desert (and I don't have it every day) I love to do it
myself to minimize the damage as much as possible. I love to make deserts that
are small and cute, use as much fruits as possible and I am trying to make them
a bit lighter.
This
creamy and small yogurt dessert is really nice to serve after lunch. I love
that is not too sweet, it is more on the refresing side. I love to serve it
with blanded fresh fruit with honey and some cinnamon. It is also super easy
and fast to make.
To make
it, you will need:
- 3.6 dl yogurt
- 2.5 dl whipped cream
- 5 yelly sheets
- juice of one lemon
- blueberries, strawberries, raspberries or nothing
- sugar
For the
topping/sauce:
- blueberries, strawberries or rasberries
- honey
- juice of one lemon
Procedure:
- First, I recomend you put yelly sheets into cold water. (according to instructions on the bag)
- Whip the cream.
- In another bowl mix yogurt and sugar (at this point I love to add a dash of rum).
- In a small pot, heat up the lemon juice and put the yelly in it – stir until ingredients mix and disolve.
- Add jelly-lemon mixture into the yogurt-sugar mixture. :P
- The final step is to mix in the crem. I love to put mixture in small plastic cups. Top it with some fruits if you like it, but it is not mandatory.
Live it
in the frezzer for 4 to 5 hours.
Enjoy!
The
topping or sauce, I don't really know how to call it, is the simplest:
Buy
frozen fruits, put them (still frozen) into blender, add honey to taste, some
cinnamon, and blend it all together. Done! :D
If you
try to make this delightful desert yourself, please let me know how you like it
and what you did differently that made it better or worse.
Bon
appétit! ;)
This yogurt looks amazing! You do better than me with eating sweets. I usually have to have one sweet treat a day.

This looks delish! I like sweets, too, but not every day. Sometimes something salty fits the bill. What are yelly sheets? I'm not familiar with them. Thankful you shared this at WJIM's Monday's Musings. Have a fabulous weekend.
OdgovoriIzbrišiThe jelly sheets should be something like this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gelatin
IzbrišiI didn't know how to call it so I typed jelly sheets:)
Now I know it is Gelatin.
